Rogue Dog Training's group obedience course is much more than the puppy meet-and-greet other trainers offer. A Milwaukee area group obedience class is a great way to get your puppy on the right track to good behavior. Socialization is an important part of any puppy’s life, and meeting a group of dogs in a controlled environment is the ideal way to teach your dog how to interact with strangers and other animals.
Rogue Dog Training offers group dog training classes for puppies, seniors and everything in between. Our group classes include puppy socialization, basic obedience and intermediate obedience classes. Our reward-based training programs build positive reinforcement to help your dog enjoy the class and retain commands.
Rogue Dog Training’s puppy socialization class is open for dogs 8 to 15 weeks old. In special cases, older dogs can attend too! Group socialization classes are a great way to get your dog started on the right path leading to a happy, confident, and well-balanced demeanor.
Our basic group obedience class is open to dogs at least 16 weeks old. We cover all the basic dog commands: sit, focus, down, stay, come, let's go, leave it and loose leash walking. Dog training classes are one hour per week for seven weeks and include a training manual and free lifetime email and phone support. The first class is humans-only and the following six weeks are used to train your dog.
At the first class, you will need to show proof of vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and bordetella or your dog will not be allowed to attend. Take a look at our vaccine requirements for group classes. Between training classes, we give homework to help cement the lesson in your dog and let you practice reward-based techniques. Rogue Dog Training always uses reward-based training to get the best obedience from every dog and build a strong, life-long bond between canine and owner.

Our intermediate group class is open to dogs one year or older who have completed a basic obedience course through Rogue Dog Training or another certified and legitimate dog training business. We extensively cover and refine the sit stay, down stay, come, let’s go, and leave it commands. This class is similar to the basic course but with increased distraction and the implementation of appropriate correction. Owners will also be educated on tools for home training.
Intermediate group obedience classes are one hour per week for five weeks and include free lifetime email and phone support. The first class is humans-only and the following five weeks are used to train your dog. At the first class, you will need to show proof of vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and bordetella or your dog will not be allowed to attend the course.
